1st International Conference on Education for Entrepreneurship

1st International Conference on Education for Entrepreneurship was held on Thursday, June 2nd, 2011. After the introductory greeting by Boris Pirjevec, the Dean of the University College Nikola Šubić Zrinski, the conference was officially opened by:

• Tihana Kraljić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Labour and Entrepreneurship
• Mirko Smoljić, Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports
• Dragutin Ranogajec, President of Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts
• Zdenka Peternel, President’s Office Chief of Staff at the Croatian Chamber of Economy

The conference, which was attended by more than 250 participants, 65 authors of 34 professional papers, was the first international conference on education for entrepreneurship in the region.

Introductory presentations were made by:

• Vitomir Tafra, President of the Board of Education Group Zrinski and Secretary of National Coordination of Education for Entrepreneurship
• Zdravko Tkalec, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs at University College Nikola Šubić Zrinski
• Zoltan Zavargo, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad
• Heinrich Traublinger, Member of the Bavarian Parliament (retd) and President of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria
